Breast Cancer Awareness

SLO CITY FIREFIGHTERS will be showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing Pink Uniform shirts in place of their normal blue uniform shirts! We will be wearing them for the week starting October 15th! Show your support by stopping by Station 1 and making a donation in the boot in the lobby! All donations will be donated to Susan G. Komen for a Cure.

Staying on top of the state

3523 President Erik Baskin took to the hill again this time to represent us at the CPF Annual Conference. There he was able to get the latest on budgets, pensions and a feel for the state and our overall condition. Trips like these help to keep us involved, educated and informed. All vital things in the efforts to continue to protect each of ourselves and our families.
Thank you Local 3523 for your continued support, Erik and just as importantly thank you to Erik's family for making the sacrifices necessary to let him do what he does.

Working for our rights...

Local 3523 working for our rights...
President Erik Baskin and Captain John MacDonald met with our elected representatives in Washington D.C. recently to discuss issues that are important to firefighters on both local and national levels. While there they were also able to get the latest updates on issues like pension reform, collective bargaining and more. These kinds of efforts help keep us on top of protecting each other and our families so our gratitude goes out to Erik and Johnny for making this valuable trip as well as to the members of Local 3523 and our family and friends who continue to support such valuable sacrifices.

Championship Game: 5:00pm
Entry Fee: $250/ Co-ed team
